RoleI coded it, designed it, wrote every word, built the brand — and launched it on the App Store and Google Play. Solo. Startender is a private nightlife network — the best bartenders and nightlife pros, and the best bars, restaurants and clubs across the US. The industry was still hiring off Craigslist. So I built the marketplace it never had — the first premium job board and nightlife network for bartenders and everyone who works the night. Best venues, best talent, zero ghost listings.

By the numbers Not a concept deck. A live marketplace with the whole country already in it. The product Two-sided marketplace on iOS and Android. A gig board with no ghost listings, profiles that work like portfolios, and direct apply — free on both sides, no staffing-agency markup. The brand Name, mascot, palette, voice, App Store listing, every line of copy in the product and the outreach. Premium and curated — the opposite of a cheap job aggregator. The engine Scrapers, geocoding and dedupe behind the venue map, plus the mail and push systems that recruit talent and activate venues city by city. All of it running unattended.
